League Two Results 2nd February

Hereford United 2-0 Lincoln City
Hereford managed a good win over Lincoln City – who probably couldn’t quite be described as relegation rivals unless there’s significant improvement in the forms of Grimsby Town and Darlington but it’s fair to say Lincoln will now have more reason than Hereford to keep a half an eye on what’s going on over their shoulder.
Ryan Green is injured and Ryan Valentine is suepended but Darren Jones was there to ensure Hereford kept a clean sheet.

Rotherham United 1-3 Bournemouth

Much has been made of Rotherham’s chances of promotion but the truth is, Bournemouth aren’t all that bad either. They might have only four substitutes, with Joe Partington just one of those injured, but winning a match away against one of you’re biggest promotion rivals I think is pretty good. Rhoys Wiggins made an excellent goal-line clearance which might have involved his hand but even the best players in the world do that sometimes. (I hope Rhoys didn’t though.)
