Fulham 1-0 Portsmouth
One goal was enough to send Fulham into the top half of the table. Portsmouth actually played well and looked like they might get something out of the game but it wasn’t to be. And Fulham will be even better once their new signings have settled into the team.
Simon Davies was unable to return to Fulham’s squad so it does look like he’s had another relapse – although just because he limped off, it doesn’t mean it’s the same problem. It must be so sad and frustrating for Simon and a shame for Fulham too as I think he’s one of their best midfielders. Roy Hodgson was hoping he’d be about to play though so I hope it’s not too bad this time. I still haven’t given up hope of seeing Simon when I go to see Wales v Sweden.
