I tend to assume the people on The Football League show know what they’re talking about but considering they made two Wales-related mistakes on Saturday’s show, maybe they’ve been making other mistakes too and I just haven’t noticed. While it’s true that Steve Morison made his Wales debut a week ago, it was not a ‘goalscoring’ debut for the simple reason that he didn’t score a goal. Similarly, the guy who scored a penalty for Swansea City is not called Steve Cotterill. He is called David Cotterill. Steve Cotterill is the new English manager of Portsmouth. Next they’ll be talking about Cardiff City’s new loan striker David Bellamy amd Wayne Hennessey’s hat-tricks.
