Championship Fixtures 9th March Part 2

Preston North End v Doncaster Rovers
Last season, Preston finished in the play-offs. They could probably still do it but maybe for now they should try to concentrate on beating Doncaster. They probably won’t score five goals again but even one goal could be enough.
Preston are likely to be without Paul Parry until the end of the season. Doncaster captain Brian Stock misses out on facing his old side due to a back injury. That’s probably what they all say but Brian’s injury is definitely real. Gareth Roberts and John Oster should play for Doncaster. John says he is enjoying life at Doncaster but he just can’t seem to score. It’s not a problem experienced by a lot of professional footballers, I have to say. Maybe if Doncaster can grab the sixth play-off spot, he’ll get more attention from the girls. (I'm sure the goals will come too.)

Queen’s Park Rangers v Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth are fighting for their lives but QPR probably don’t care. They’re in the middle of a Stephen Warnock honeymoon and you know what people on honeymoon are like.
Carl Fletcher still thinks Plymouth can survive. I’m afraid I don’t agree but if I was a Plymouth supporter, I bet I’d be thinking exactly the same thing.

Watford v Swansea City
Swansea’s 2010 unbeaten run came to an end this weekend at the hands – or rather feet – of Nottingham Forest.
Joe Allen (knee) is still out for Swansea but David Cotterill might have a fitness test on his hamstring injury, depending which version you believe. Ashley Williams and Jazz Richards should be around.
