League One Fixtures 9th March

Carlisle United v Millwall
A win is needed to ensure that Millwall stay in the play-offs and considering the fuss manager Kenny Jackett made about them letting two goals in on Saturday, I’m sure they won’t dare let in more than one this time. Jason Price has come to the end of his loan spell at Oldham but it sounds like they’re still interested in extending it.

Milton Keynes Dons v Swindon Town
MK Dons’ play-off dreams are looking rather faint now but Swindon could still be reeling from a shock home defeat to Bristol Rovers. So maybe Jermaine Easter will sneak another four goals past them. Yes, all on his own.

Oldham Athletic v Leyton Orient

Oldham are out of the relegation places for now but defeat to Orient could drop them straight back in it. I’m a bit confused about Jason Price but perhaps I’m not alone. His loan deal from Millwall has expired and Sporting Life implies he won’t be available for this match. Yet in the very next sentence it says Oldham are interested in keeping him. So who knows, I certainly don’t. Oldham will however be able to play Blackpool loanee Daniel Nardiello and their own Joe Jacobson.

Tranmere Rovers v Leeds United
Leeds are still a good side but a win for Tranmere is far from impossible. Of course, Leeds will probably get another lucky equaliser but I’m sure Tranmere will take all the points off Leeds they can get.
Ash Taylor probably won’t be fit enough to play for Tranmere. Maybe next time.
