Everton 5-1 Hull City
Hull remained in the relegation zone while Everton got pundits excited about a possible late challenge for the Europa League places. I wouldn’t put it passed them. I told everyone who would listen last year that Everton would snatch fifth place. They laughed at me. But later on, I laughed at them.
Boaz Myhill made an excellent save when Everton were awarded a penalty they probably didn’t deserve but apart from that he was very unlucky.
