Wales v Luxembourg Injury News

I was just saying to my parents at dinner today how good it was that no Welsh players have withdrawn from the squad. Now look what’s happened!

Sam Vokes is out of the Wales match after being stretchered off 13 minutes into his Bristol City debut. Sam has a leg injury and is expected to miss six weeks. I don’t know how I missed this in my report of that match as it’s mentioned in some of the reports I’ve actually read but I am hoping start a college course in hairdressing so I probably need to lose a few brain cells here and there. Add to that the fact my boyfriend plays football and it’s a wonder I can form any coherent sentences at all.

Ched Evans is also a doubt as he hurt his ankle during Sheffield United’s 1-1 draw with Cardiff City today.

Luckily John Toshack picked six strikers so he still has four left and if any of them can’t play, Freddy Eastwood was excellent yesterday for Coventry and Sanchez Watt (who is obviously eligible for Wales or I wouldn’t mention him) looked pretty good for Leeds United.
