League Two Fixtures 6th March Part 2

Hereford United v Macclesfield Town
This match goes ahead after the family of Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander decided that the match would go ahead, this being what Keith Alexander would have wanted. The manager died a few hours after their defeat to league leaders Rochdale. He has had a series of recent health problems, although he is said to have been feeling well on the day of the match.
Ryan Green and Ryan Valentine are likely to be in defence for Hereford. Darren Jones missed the last match for some reason but he could be back in the squad for this match.
Matthew Tipton, just one of the Macclesfield players to have paid tribute to his manager, will probably be on the bench.

Port Vale v Northampton Town
Both these teams have been a bit up-and-down recently, winning well one week only to suffer a bad defeat the next. The play-offs remain just about possible for both clubs.
Craig Davies was substitutes at half-time in Vale’s last match but he doesn’t seem to be injured. He says he would be quite tempted to stay at Port Vale after this season but for now he’s just thinking about getting Port Vale as high up the league as he can. Lewis Haldane and Gareth Owen all to start with Peter Gilbert in defence for Northampton.

Rotherham United v Bradford City
Bradford’s fortunes have changed under their new manager but they lost away to Aldershot last week and now they face automatic promotion contenders Rotherham. Michael Flynn is likely to start for Bradford.
