Middlesbrough v Cardiff City
Joe Ledley has agreed to put off his hip operation for the time being and he will feature for Cardiff after passing a fitness test. Adam Matthews has been on the bench on recent weeks but even that is a great achievement for a 17 year old. It would be nice to see him play though.
Middlesbrough will be desperate to prove that their one win under Gordon Strachan wasn’t just a blip. Rhys Williams was substituted early last week, if he pissed Strachan off enough he might be on the bench with second-choice goalkeeper Danny Coyne. Or maybe Danny will play. Strachan was shocked to discover Danny was one of just three Middlesbrough players to be married. Well it makes a nice change from those who consider Wags a distraction.
