Aldershot Town 1-0 Chesterfield
Mark Crossley is probably itching to get off the bench and try to help Chesterfield out. He is a very experienced keeper so he might be able to help.
Bournemouth 1-0 Shrewsbury Town
Joe Partington didn’t come off the bench but Bournemouth did fine without him. Shrewsbury on the other hand seemed to miss their Welsh players quite a lot. (Well they were certainly missing something.)
Bury 2-0 Barnet
Daniel Nardiello was one of very few players to be successful from the penalty spot this week.
Cheltenham Town 2-2 Northampton Town
Josh Low (Cheltenham) and Peter Gilbert (Northampton) helped to get a point for their teams.
Grimsby Town 1-1 Dagenham & Redbridge
Tony Roberts managed to keep out enough goals to win Dagenham a point.
Hereford United 0-2 Notts County
Considering Notts County are League Two’s highest scorers, Ryan Green and the rest of the defence did well to restrict them for two goals. Ryan came close to getting an assist but Marc Pugh, the player he passed to, was fouled (Ryan Valentine missed the resulting penalty - well he's in good company). But Ryan G went off after half-time. He was a doubt because of a thigh problem so that was probably why, I hope he’s better by next week.
Port Vale 0-2 Morecambe
It’s not the best result for Port Vale but things should improve once Gareth Owen and Lewis Haldane are playing for them again. Gareth is recovering from a cheekbone operation whilst Lewis can’t play as his loan from Bristol Rovers has come to an end. However he is continuing to train with the Vale side and it looks very likely that he’ll sign permanently in January. Bristol Rovers don’t seem to want him back – well they do have three Welsh players on the bench already.
