Premiership Fixtures 19th December

Arsenal v Hull City
There is huge pressure on Aaron Ramsey to fill Cesc Fabregas’ boots when Arsenal take on Hull. If Aaron can just concentrate on filling his Ramsey-sized boots, that will make a huge difference to the team. We can’t really ask for anything more than that.
Sanchez Watt could be on the substitutes’ bench as a result of Aaron’s promotion to the starting line-up (if indeed Aaron is promoted). But Arsene Wenger might put someone else on the bench instead.
Hull keeper Boaz Myhill thinks his team could beat Arsenal again. I love Bo but I think he shouldn’t get his hopes up.

Aston Villa v Stoke City
James Collins is probably fit to play the full match for Aston Villa but with Richard Dunne and Carlos Cuellar in such good form in central defence, he’ll probably have to settle for a place on the bench again.
Danny Collins was surprisingly dropped to the bench for Stoke’s last game but as Robert Huth has gone and got himself suspended again there’s a good chance Danny will be recalled to play alongside Ryan Shawcross.

Blackburn Rovers v Tottenham Hotspur

As Gareth Bale was one of the few Tottenham players who didn’t sneak off to Dublin to party behind Harry Redknapp’s back, I say he deserves to play. But if Redknapp dropped all the naughty boys, he would only be left with four players.
Gareth probably still has a chance of playing through considering Benoit Assou-Ekotto limped off during Wednesday’s game. Limping players are always a positive when the player in question is the one you’re trying to oust from the team.
Jason Brown will be Blacknurn's substitute goalkeeper.

Fulham v Manchester United
Simon Davies is making hopeful noises about returning to the side but Fulham don’t seem to share his optimism. Ryan Giggs has recovered from his hamstring injury and could play for Manchester United.

Manchester City v Sunderland

Craig Bellamy was clearly missed during his one-match suspension so the chances are he will play for Manchester City. Poor little Robinho would never cope with all the horrible cold snow.
