Preston North End v Derby County
Derby’s Robbie Savage says he doesn’t blame Simon Cox for his handball goal against Derby last week because he would have done the same. Well he’s honest but I’d have handled it differently. I expect Robbie and Preston’s Paul Parry to play in this match.

Reading v Crystal Palace
I love Simon Church but I don’t want to see him back on the pitch for Reading unless he’s fully fit.

Sheffield United v Nottingham Forest
Ched Evans didn’t come off Sheffield United’s bench until late in the game but as they didn’t score until even later maybe he’s in with a chance of a start.
I’ll be pretty annoyed if Robert Earnshaw doesn’t get a start for Forest after his hat-trick last week. I’m not expecting another hat-trick but his confidence should be high and I’m sure he’ll play well. Chris Gunter should also be in the squad and I’d love to see Arron Davies get a chance after his loan move to Brighton didn’t work out. But if you’re not good enough for a League One relegation scrap, can you really expect to play any part in a promotion push to the Premiership? (The terms of his loan might not allow him to play in any case,)
