Premier League Fixtures 26th December Part 1

Burnley v Bolton Wanderers
I expect Sam Ricketts to be on Bolton’s bench again. He can eat as much turkey as he likes then.

Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur
Simon Davies probably won’t play for Fulham due to his calf injury. And for once I hope Gareth Bale stays well away from the pitch, there's nothing scarier than Fulham at home. Isn't that right, Manchester United?

Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wayne Hennessey probably isn’t likely to be recalled to Wolves’ starting line-up and Dave Edwards is definitely out. But on the other hand, if Portsmouth can beat Liverpool, surely anyone can?

Manchester City v Stoke City
Craig Bellamy is Man City’s best striker (and it’s not just me saying that) but after he protested against the sacking of Mark Hughes, new manager Roberto Mancini might not be that happy with him. Especially not if the rumours about their training ground argument are true. But really, you can’t take arguments with Craig too seriously. All it really means is that he’s noticed you exist.
Ryan Shawcross will have a fitness task on his groin injury. He has been having sugar injections into his groin. Sounds all right to me. If Ryan is out, Danny Collins must be certain to start for Stoke.
