Premiership Results 15th December

Birmingham City 2-1 Blackburn Rovers
I like doing this blog, I really do but there’s only so many ways I can express ‘Jason Brown is on the bench for Blackburn Rovers’. So sort it out Blackburn, give him a start.

Bolton Wanderers 3-1 West Ham United
I had a bit of a panic about Bolton’s Sam Ricketts. I looked at the team line-up and I could not see him anywhere. Then I realised I was looking at Blackburn’s line-up by mistake. When I looked at Bolton’s page I found him straight away, on the bench.
Danny Gabbidon and Jack Collison both started for West Ham. Danny made an excellent block to ensure the result wasn’t even more embarrassing. Jack got another assist but was replaced after 87 minutes.

Manchester United 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
The BBC Sports Personality of the Year isn’t playing due to a hamstring injury but Wolves had Wayne Hennessey on the bench.

Sunderland 0-2 Aston Villa

James Collins stayed on the bench – he’s probably still got some recovering to do. But Aston Villa won anyway. I love Aston Villa when they’re not beating Arsenal.
