Championship Results 26th December Part 3

Reading 1-1 Swansea City
Simon Church was suspended for Reading after a spectacular 11 minutes last week but Reading still managed to score. Ashley Williams started with David Cotterill, Joe Allen and David Cornell on the bench. Only Joe came on as a substitute but he did his best to get Swansea a win. He didn’t manage it but as Cardiff are my Welsh team I don’t mind.

Watford 0-0 Nottingham Forest
Chris Gunter made two clearances off the line to help Nottingham Forest keep a clean sheet and he would have won them a penalty if the referee had been watching properly. Robert Earnshaw didn’t appear until the 86th minute.

West Brom 2-0 Peterborough United
Craig Morgan was on the bench. This could be more evidence that he’s going to Notts County but maybe it just means he was tired. He came on as a substitute after 62 minutes and got a yellow card which means he’ll be suspended for the next game. It wasn’t his fault Peterborough lost though. What do you expect when the team in second play the bottom club?
