Arsenal v Stoke City
Arsenal have so many injuries, Aaron Ramsey is almost certain to be on the bench if not on the pitch from the start. Unless his foot is still hurting from Emmanuel Adebayor trod on it. Ryan Shawcross will have a late fitness test to determine whether he can play for Stoke alongside Danny Collins.
Aston Villa v Hull City
Most sources say that James Collins is ruled out of this match. Others say he will have a fitness test on his groin injury. Given that he won’t necessarily pass the fitness test, let’s just say he won’t play. (He probably will play now I’ve said that.)
Boaz Myhill proved his fitness to Hull in midweek (no idea when but let’s take Google News’ word for it) but unfortunately Hull’s other goalkeeper Matt Duke has been proving goalkeeping skills.
Blackburn v Liverpool
There is a lot on Google News about Jason Brown’s knee injury. However that is a different Jason Brown. But our one might as well have a knee injury because he’s not going to play.
Manchester City v Chelsea
Craig Bellamy has a knee injury and is a doubt. It’s a shame as this is one match I don’t mind them winning.
West Ham United v Manchester United
Ryan Giggs is in the running to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Some less welcome news is that he’s probably also in the running to play against West Ham.
Jack Collison is looking forward to playing Manchester United – and also to playing for Wales. He can sing the National Anthem and everything.
