Milton Keynes Dons v Leyton Orient
MK Dons have a lot of work to do if they want to get back into the play-off race. Jermaine Easter is their top scorer. He was in great form earlier this season but he hasn’t been scoring as regularly in 2010.
Norwich City v Yeovil Town
Owain Tudur Jones has returned to Norwich City and is pushing for a place in the squad after playing well for the reserves. Ironically, if he is picked, he will face the team for whom he was playing on loan last week. Yeovil want him back but I have a feeling they can’t have him.
Fellow Welsh midfielders Shaun MacDonald – who scored a brilliant goal against MK Dons last week – and Arron Davies are still on loan at Yeovil. I hope they don't try to pass to Owain by accident!
Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton would like Shaun to stay but he says it’s not up to him.
Swindon Town v Bristol Rovers
Former Premier League side Swindon continue to push for a place in the play-offs Rovers’ Byron Anthony was injured last week but still played so barring a major relapse he should play again. He’s been excellent for Bristol Rovers since fighting his way back into the team Ben Swallow should also be in the squad.
Tranmere Rovers v Southampton
Ash Taylor says his team Tranmere have a lot of work to do if they’re to survive relegation. They have fought their way out of the relegation zone – quite an achievement, as they were some way adrift of safety – but are far from out of trouble. They would certainly be in with a chance if Ash played – the teenager has been excellent for them this season after coming into the team to cover for injuries. But his hamstring injury is expected to keep him out for at least another week.
Southampton’s Lloyd James and Anthony Pulis are said to be not far away from returning to training.
Walsall v Millwall
Rhys Weston came off the bench in Walsall’s last game as well as playing a midweek reserve match so he’s probably in contention to return to the starting line-up. Mark Bradley will probably be on the bench.
Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has been nominated for Manager of the Month again and I think he deserves it but I hope he doesn’t win. I haven’t forgotten what happened last time he won it.
