Championship Results 10th Aprli Part 3

Peterborough United 1-2 Leicester City
Relegated Peterborough found themselves on the losing side again while Leicester moved up to 5th.
Craig Morgan returned from an ankle injury to play in defence - and later attack - for Peterborough. He nearly scored with header too. Andy King was again on the scoreheet for Leicester, scoring their winner, and Nicky Adams got to come off the bench again.

Preston North End 3-2 Scunthorpe United
If Paul Parry stays at Preston – and there’s no reason to assume he won’t - it looks as though he’ll be playing Championship football next season. Scunthorpe too could survive but it’s going to be close between the bottom clubs.

Sheffield United 1-0 Coventry City
Sheffield United could mathematically get into the play-offs but Coventry, who have now lost three consecutive games, have other things to worry about – although relegation isn’t that likely.
Sheffield United were still missing the injured Ched Evans (collarbone) but Freddy Eastwood was a late substitute for Coventry and nearly scored.

Watford 1-0 Plymouth Argyle

Watford got a vital win over Plymouth, whose great escape seems to have faltered. It’s difficult to imagine them staying up now.
Plymouth captain Carl Fletcher is still out with a knee injury.
