Oldham Athletic 2-1 Bristol Rovers
Oldham moved three points further from the relegation zone as they beat on-form Bristol Rovers, who probably won’t get into the play-offs now.
Oldham were without injured defender Joe Jacobson but Byron Anthony played at right back for Bristol Rovers, with Ben Swallow coming off the bench.
Southampton 1-0 Charlton Athletic
Southampton’s single goal was enough for victory over Charlton, who could still get automatic promotion.
Lloyd James was on the bench for Southampton. Charlton’s Grant Basey is out with an ankle ligament injury.
Stockport 1-3 Yeovil Town
The inevitable was confirmed on Saturday afternoon – Stockport will spend next season in League Two – if they can survive their financial problems. Yeovil moved seven points clear of the drop zone.
Owain fon Williams was in goal for Stockport – but I’d be surprised if he’s playing in League Two next season.
Gavin Wlliams was again in great form for Yeovil. As on his debut, he got an assist and a goal. On his debut, Gavin got a red card but this time he got a second goal instead, which was much better. Shaun MacDonald also played for Yeovil but Nathan Jones and loanee Arron Davies weren’t in the squad.
Walsall 2-1 Tranmere Rovers
Walsall moved further into mid-table safety but Tranmere are still in the bottom four.
Rhys Weston’s hamstring is causing him problems again so he missed this match. Mark Bradley was on the bench.
Ash Taylor did a great job for Tranmere, coming ever so close to a goal but he had to be substituted on 65 minutes after suffering a head wound.
