Fulham 6-0 Port Vale
This 6-0 thing seems to be catching. Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United were all at it at the weekend. Fulham were playing Manchester United so it would have been a bit difficult for them to join in then but a Carling Cup clash against Port Vale offered the perfect opportunity.
Fulham’s team was close to full strength but Simon Davies was one of those rested.
Gareth Owen played in defence for Port Vale.
