Tranmere Rovers have signed Kayleden Brown on loan from West Bromwich Albion. As he’s a striker he isn’t a replacement for injured defender/midfielder Ash Taylor but having a Welshman in the side can only help.
Tony James says he was disappointed to be left out of Burton Albion’s starting line-up for their opening match but he wasn’t going to sulk about it. Instead he waited for his chance to play and took it. His reward was a place in the starting line-up against Barnet.
Chestefield have appealed against the red card that saw Craig Davies sent off against Barnet but the appeal was not successful. I think I’m on Craig’s side but I am a little bit biased where he’s concerned.
Port Vale have signed Abdulai Bell-Baggie on loan. No, he’s not Welsh but here’s there to provide cover for Lewis Haldane, who is still working to build up his fitness and isn’t expected to be back until next month.
