Cheltenham Town 0-2 Bury
This defeat meabs Cheltenham have dropped to15th place – but as they’re only one point behind the play-offs, there’s no need to worry just yet. Three points are enough for Bury to climb up to 6th place.
Cheltenham were without Josh Low, who has missed the last two games with a calf injury.
Crewe Alexandra 1-1 Oxford United
Oxford had a player booked twice in five minuites but luckily he had scored the equaliser by then. Crewe then appeared to take the lead for a second time but the attempt was ruled out for offside and the points were shared.
Rhys Taylor was in goal for Crewe. His captain Dave Artell thinks he shouldn’t have conceded the second goal – because the player should have already been sent off for fouling Rhys.
Gillingham 1-0 Burton Albion
Gillingham got their second win of the season against a side whose away record is now completely identical to Gillingham’s.
Tony James returned to Burton’s bench and it looks like they missed him.
Hereford United 1-3 Southend United
Hereford are now propping up the lead after Barnet got a point and Southend became the third side in a row to beat Hereford at home.
Stuart Fleetwood is only one yellow card away from a suspension after picking up his fourth of the season in this match. And he’s not the only one. Ryan Green and Ryan Valentine were also on the losing side.
Southend’s Peter Gilbert got his third booking of the season – which is quite a lot considering he’s only played six games.(unless there are some Johnstone’s Paint Trophy results I’ve missed). Cardiff loanee Nathaniel Jarvis only arrived on Tuesday but he got to make his debut after 77 minutes.
Morecambe 2-2 Barnet
Barnet are no longer top of the table after getting a better result than Hereford United. They took the lead twice but each time Morecambe managed to equalise.
I’ve got no idea where Morecambe defender Darren Moss is but there is a rumour he’s on the transfer list/been paid off.
