Everton v Manchester United
Everton will be hoping to quadruple their points total but that might not be the easieat thing in the world considering who their visitors are. Man Utd have not lost away since they last played Everton. Everton meanwhile laven’t lost at home since November. The team who beat them are hated by both Everton and Manchester United fans.
Owen Hargreaves has made it into Man Utd’s 25-man squad but he’s not ready to return from his knee injury. Ryan Giggs and Michael Owen shouldbe in the matchday squad though.
Arsenal v Bolton Wanderers
Arsenal’s injury curse has returned, leaving Arsenal very short in the striker department. Central defence is not looking great either but Bolton’s goalkeeper is suspended so it’s not just Arsenal who are suffering. Both teams are unbeaten so far this season.
Aaron Ramsey is still recovering from his broken leg.
Sam Ricketts will probably be on the bench tomorrow but I never complain about Welsh players being left on the bench when the team in question is playing Arsenal.
Fulham v Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolves are in 7th place while Fulham are 14th but with Wolves only a point ahead of them, the table could look very different this time tomorrow.
Fulham have lots of injuries but Simon Davies has had the chance to rest his long-term foot injury during the international break (I’m honestly not having a dig at him!). Mark Hughes will be hoping to lead Fulham to their first win of the season but he has drawn eleven of his last fourteen games as a manager.
David Jones will hope to keep his place in the starting line-up but competition is fierce and Dave Edwards will be fighting to be a starter. Wayne Hennessey will be on the bench.
