League One Fixtures 5th April Part 1

Brentford v Exeter City
A win for Brentford could put Exeter back in trouble. But they probably don’t hate Exeter. Leyton Orient would have far more reason to worry about playing Brentford.
Lewis Price will probably be on the bench for Brentford but they do have loads of other loanees.
Stuart Fleetwood has a good chance of starting for Exeter after scoring for them just moments after coming on as a substitute. Richard Duffy will probably start too but Rob Edwards, the player Stuart replaced, has a hamstring injury and could miss out. Andy Marriott will probably be on the bench again.

Bristol Rovers v Milton Keynes Dons
Both these teams look like they’re out of the play-offs but they might want to beat each other just in case.
Byron Anthony won’t play for Bristol Rovers as he has to finish off his two-month suspension but Ben Swallow is said to be pushing for a start.
Jermaine Easter should start for Milton Keynes. It would be really mean to leave it out considering what day it is. Think of the headlines if he scores.

Charlton Athletic v Carlisle United
Charlton are back in the automatic promotion place but Carlisle’s Jason Price has a very important job to do. Jason is on loan from Millwall and Charlton are one of Millwall’s promotion rivals. You know what you’ve got to do, Jason.
Charlton are without Grant Basey (ankle) for the rest of the season. They seemed to miss him loads at first but now it looks like they’ve adapted.

Colchester United v Millwall
These two clubs seem to have swapped places. Not very long ago, Colchester were hoping for automatic promotion while Millwall just wanted to get into the play-offs. Now, Colchester are out of the play-offs on goal difference while Millwall are a point behind second place.
Lee Beevers (knee) is probably still out for Colchester although I haven’t heard anything for a while. Loanee Thomas Bender should be on the bench though.
Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has just won Manager of the Month. Not that he doesn’t deserve it but it’s cursed, everyone knows that.
