League Two Results 3rd April Part 1

Bournemouth 1-0 Bradford City
Bournemouth strengthened their grip on an automatic promotion place with victory over Bradford.
Rhoys Wiggins played the full match in defence for Bournemouth, with Joe Partington on the bench. Bradford were without the injured Michael Flynn, who has a rib injury.

Burton Albion 1-2 Darlington
Darlington’s new boss managed to beat Burton in his first match as they try to launch a late survival bid. Burton would be lucky to get into the play-offs now but they’ve had a great season.
Tony James was in defence for Burton.

Cheltenham Town 1-0 Lincoln City
Cheltenham’s win moved them seven points clear of the relegation zone. Lincoln look fine too.
Josh Low had a shot saved and the rebound led to Cheltenham’s goal. Lincoln again didn’t use loanee David Stephens – the eighteen year old seems to be more one for the youth team.

Chesterfield 2-0 Rochdale

Two penalties gave Chesterfield victory over the League leaders and kept their play-off hopes alive.
Robert Page was left out of Chesterfield’s squad but Mark Crossley was on the bench.

Dagenham & Redbridge 3-1 Accrington Stanley
One week they look out of the play-offs, the next they look back in again. Well they really are back in – they’re only two points away. Accrington are still closer to the play-offs than they are to relegation.
Tony Roberts played in goal for Dagenham – without him, Accrington could have brought it back to 2-2 moments after the Daggers scored their second.
