Blackpool v Reading
Blackpool will be a bit short of Welshness for this match. Rob Edwards is suspended after being sent off against Middlesbrough while Neal Eardley and Daniel Nardiello have knee and groin injuries respectively. Luckily David Vaughan still seems to be fit. Simon Church scored twice in Reading’s last match and will have a chance to keep the run going as he’s expected to start.
Cardiff City v Barnsley
Cardiff are undoubtedly still in the play-off race as (apart from Leicester), the teams immediately below them have played two more games then them. And considering all the problems they’ve been having, it’s a great achievement that they’re as high as they are. But this is a match they should probably win. Aaron Wildig is still having back problems but Cardiff will start him if he comes though a fitness test. Darcy Blake also has a knock which could be related to his own recent back problem. Adam Matthews seems to be fit but he’s been left on the bench recently as Cardiff manager Dave Jones thinks he’s played too many games already. Joe Ledley is still out after having his hip operations.
Crystal Palace v Coventry City
At first the ten-point deduction didn’t seem to bother Palace at all but now they’re looking vulnerable again. Freddy Eastwood has a hamstring problem but he is expected to recover in time to play for Coventry.
