Championship Results 9th February Part 3

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Blackpool
Neal Eardley was one of three players to missthe match after being caught clubbing in defiance of Ian Holloway’s rules and this could have contributed to Blackpool’s problems against Sheffield Wednesday.
Rob Edwards replaced Neal in defence while David Vaughan kept his place in midfield but it wasn’t Blackpool’s day. Daniel Nardiello was also absent, presumbed injured.

Watford 2-0 Bristol City
Another disappointing result for Bristol City leaves them six points from the play-offs – and five points from the relegation places. Lewin Nyatanga played the full match and there was a place on the bench for Gavin Williams this time although he didn’t get to play.
