Championship Results 20th February Part 3

Plymouth Argyle 1-1 Leicester City
Plymouth again showed their determination to get out of trouble but they couldn’t get more than a point against Leicester after scoring a horrible own goal. Carl Fletcher could have won the three points for Plymouth but his shot was cleared off the line. Andy King played for Leicester but there wasn’t even a place on the bench for Leicester midfielder Nicky Adams, who recently returned from Leyton Orient on loan.

Queen’s Park Rangers 2-1 Doncaster Rovers
QPR’s bad run came to an end – at least for now – with a victory over Doncaster Rovers. Brian Stock could have scored after receiving the ball from John Oster but it wasn’t to be – Brian has been outstanding but he’s probably still not quite at his best following his long injury lay-off. The injured Gareth Roberts was able to make a late appearance from the bench.
