League Two Results 20th February Part 2

Darlington 2-3 Chesterfield
Darlington were 2-0 up and cruising and looked on course for a vital win but then Chesterfield scored three goals in the last ten minutes. Chesterfield had Robert Page in defence and Mark Crossley on the bench.

Hereford 3-4 Burton Albion
This game was full of goalscorers who hadn’t scored for three or four years and one of them was Burton defender Tony James. His 96th minute goal gave Burton all three points after going 3-1 down to Hereford. Tony used to play for Hereford and was given the chance to return during the January transfer window but now he might be quite glad he turned it down after scoring his first goal for Burton – and his first ever headed goal. Ryan Valentine and Darren Jones were both in defence for Wigan but Ryan Green was only fit enough for the bench.

Port Vale 0-2 Barnet
Port Vale found themselves on the losing side again as Barnet got a very welcome win at last. Gareth Owen returned from injury to start in defence for Vale with Craig Davies and Lewis Haldane on the attack.

Rochdale 3-1 Dagenham & Redbridge

A point at leaders Rochdale would have been a more than acceptable result for Dagenham and until the 83rd minute it looked like that was exactly what was going to happen. Tony Roberts, a cult hero for Daggers fans, had another good performance and really made friends with his goalposts by kissing them every time they helped him out. But he still ended up on the losing side. Lucky goalpost, getting kissed by a Welsh footballer.
