Derby County v Swansea City
Robbie Savage hopes to lead revitalised Derby to another win over a top Championship club. Ashley Williams, Jazz Richards, David Cotterill and Joe Allen might all start for Swansea – or they might not.
Newcastle United v Preston North End
Newcastle are unbeaten at home this season so a win for Preston doesn’t look like the most likely outcome. Preston are still without Paul Parry.
Nottingham Forest v Middlesbrough
If Nottingham Forest win, they’ll equal a club record of nine consecutive home wins in a season. Forest have been rather good at keeping runs going this season. Robert Earnshaw really deserves to start after scoring his 150th league goal against Sheffield United and I expect Chris Gunter to keep his place in defence. Middlesbrough probably won’t have Rhys Williams back from a pelvis injury but Danny Coyne will be in goal. Danny recently took part in a community event to help young goalkeepers and it sounds as though he – and they – really enjoyed it. Danny is also taking his UEFA ‘A’ licence which means he’s nearly qualified to manage a Premier League club.
