Premier League Fixtures 20th February

Arsenal v Sunderland
Arsenal will hope to bounce back from their defeat to Porto with a win over the only side outside the current Top Four (Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City) to have beaten them in the League this season. Aaron Ramsey isn’t in BBC Sport’s matchday squad but maybe they made a mistake. I hope so, Aaron’s creativity and eye for goal could be just what Arsenal need.

Everton v Manchester United
Manchester United are without Ryan Giggs, who has a broken arm. Both sides are missing some key players so let’s see what happens. It’ll probably be an away win but we can hope.

Portsmouth v Stoke City
Portsmouth are almost certainly going down but that doesn’t mean they can’t put up a good fight when it suits them. And Stoke aren’t nearly as good away as they are at home. After impressing as a substitute, Danny Collins could start for Stoke if Danny Higginbotham is ruled out. Ryan Shawcross should keep his place. He did well to recover from an error in his last game but one and his goal for Stoke in the last game really should have stood.

West Ham United v Hull City
It’s another one of those relegation clash things. West Ham probably have the stronger squad but Hull have beaten better teams than West Ham. Jack Collison is in West Ham’s squad and is hoping to get back into the starting line-up after being surprisingly dropped. Danny Gabbidon is still absent with a hamstring problem but he’s expected to return to full training soon. I think the Hull manager would have to be mad to drop Boaz Myhill but the Hull manager is Phil Brown… Jimmy Bullard could play too. He’s not Welsh but I really wish he was.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Chelsea
Wolves’ win over Tottenham was the first in the League since beating Burnley in early December. Mick McCarthy says he will name the same starting line-up as last time so that means no start for Wayne Hennessey or Sam Vokes although they will be on the bench and Sam now seems to be the first reserve striker as Chris Iwelumo has been sent out on loan. Dave Edwards is still out with an ankle injury but apparently he’s not far away from making his comeback.
