League One Results 30th January Part 2

Milton Keynes Dons 1-1 Exeter City
MK Dons looked like they’d won it when they were still 1-0 up in the second minute of stoppage time. Jermaine Easter was on the bench until the 76th minute but even he couldn’t get MK Dons a second goal. Rob Edwards was back in Exeter’s side after recovering from a facial injury and although Rob was taken off after 79 minutes maybe it was just a tactical change. Richard Duffy played the full game and there was a surprise start for goalkeeper Andy Marriott. But it was a very nice surprise. Stuart Fleetwood was on the bench.

Norwich City 2-1 Hartlepool United
Norwich managed just fine despite having just sent Owain Tudur Jones and Rhoys Wiggins out on loan, to Yeovil and Bournemouth respectively.

Oldham Athletic P-P Brentford
Joe Jacobson was unable to help Oldham climb out of the relegation places as the pitch was frozen and the match had to be postponed. No new date has been arranged but maybe by the time it has, Wojciech Szczesny will have returned to Arsenal, leaving Lewis Price to take over as their goalkeeper. Nothing against Wojciech, on the contrary he seems very promising but poor Lewis must be kicking himself (well he’s not having many chances to kick the ball) for telling Brentford to bring in another goalkeeper to increase competition for places.
