Peterborough United v Bristol City
Peterborough continue to battle against the inevitable. Bristol City are looking out of the play-off picture but fairly safe.
Peterborough will be without Craig Morgan, who hasn’t recovered from an ankle injury.
Lewin Nyatanga is still out for Bristol City with an Achilles injury. Christian Ribeiro looks likely to keep his place in defence (and apparently Everton are after him) but James Wilson is on the treatment table with a knee injury.
Plymouth Argyle v Blackpool
Plymouth are another fighting for survival and they would love to get one over on Blackpool manager Ian Holloway, who dumped them for Leicester City. Blackpool remain the team most likely to catch Cardiff City and take their place in the play-off zone.
Carl Fletcher will play for Plymouth but Blackpool have Welsh injury problems. David Vaughan could return from an ankle injury but Neal Eardley is likely to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury. Rob Edwards is available but he’s been on the bench lately.
Preston North End v Queen’s Park Rangers
Both sides have changed their manager this season but QPR have done it more times. Unfortunately this result is about number of goals, not number of managers. Otherwise QPR would win by miles.
Paul Parry is out with a knee injury and won’t play again this season.
Reading v West Bromwich Albion
The last time Reading faced West Bromwich Albion, Reading knocked them out of the Cup, kicking them to the wayside where they ended up next to Liverpool. WBA will be up for revenge.
Simon Church has been great for Reading but so have all their other strikers so he’s likely to be on the bench again.
