Exeter City 1-0 Bristol Rovers
Exeter won for the first time since January and are now just one point from safety.
Rob Edwards returned to Exeter’s starting line-up and made a great block to prevent Bristol Rovers from scoring. Richard Duffy also played in defence and his shot on goal required a very good save. Andy Marriott remained on the bench despite having recovered from his neck injury. There was no place in the squad for loanee Stuart Fleetwood.
Byron Anthony apparently only had an outside chance of playing after suffering a suspected broken leg at the weekend but he played the full match. He nearly scored from 35 yards too. Ben Swallow was on the bench.
