Brighton v Brentford
Brighton will be hoping to put some more distance between themselves and the play-offs and a win would put them above Brentford. Brentford are unbeaten in six games but the last four were draws.
Andrew Crofts will play in midfield for Brighton. Lewis Price will probably be on the bench again. Wojciech Szczesny didn’t have his best game for Brentford at the weekend but I wouldn’t expect him to be dropped after one bad game.
Carlisle United v Yeovil Town
Carlisle look destined to finish mid-table but they’ll need some more wins to make absolutely sure. Yeovil are ahead of Carlisle on goal difference – and I’m sure they’ll be more than happy with mid-table finish.
Jason Price gets a rest from helping out parent club Millwall but I’m sure he’s also interested in helping Carlisle. Carlisle manager Greg Abbott has praised his positive influence in the dressing room.
Gavin Williams made a spectacular second debut for Yeovil at the weekend but he is suspended for this match. Arron Davies could take his place in the starting line-up with Shaun MacDonald also very likely to play.
Southampton v Swindon Town
Southampton probably won’t get into the play-offs while Swindon are guaranteed to stay there until the next game whatever happens. But Southampton have done well lately while Swindon have had a few problems.
Lloyd James was expected to return from an ankle injury last weekend but didn’t. I’m not sure where he is.
Stockport County v Oldham Athletic
Stockport continue to do their best to get out of trouble. Oldham are only four points clear of the relegation places and will be in danger if Stockport do the impossible.
Owain fon Williams will be hoping for a result his performances have merited this season. Joe Jacobson should play for Oldham but Daniel Nardiello doesn’t seem to have recovered from his hamstring injury.
