Championship Fixtures 13th March Part 1

Coventry City v Plymouth Argyle
Coventry continue their push for the play-offs but Plymouth only have one thing on their minds. Staying up. Freddy Eastwood has been on the bench since returning from injury and with Coventry doing so well, he probably doesn’t have a huge chance of getting back into the starting line-up. Carl Fletcher should play for Plymouth though and it could be his turn to play in central defence again.

Doncaster Rovers v Derby County
A win for Doncaster would put them within touching distance of the play-offs while Derby remain in trouble. Brian Stock is still out with a back injury but he is progressing well. Gareth Roberts and John Oster should start for Doncaster.
Robbie Savage is set to start in midfield, rather than in goal, as Derby have managed to sign a keeper on loan. He has a tough act to follow. Derby do, of course, have a brilliant Welsh goalkeeper called Lewis Price who is on loan at Brentford but they're not allowed to recall him.

Leicester City v Cardiff City
Defeat for Cardiff could see them drop out of the play-off zone but they’ll be more interested in winning and overtaking Leicester. Andy King will probably start for Leicester with Nicky Adams on the bench.
Cardiff’s injury problems continue and it’s a good job I’m only concerned with the Welsh ones or this really would be a long preview. Joe Ledley is out after having operations on his hips but is hoping to return next month. Darcy Blake and Adam Matthews started in the defeat to Ipswich and although that wasn’t exactly Cardiff’s result of the season, there aren’t many other options.
If Aaron Wildig has recovered from his various niggles, he could be in contention for a place in central midfield. Jonathan Meades seems too young at 18 but he’s actually a month older than Aaron and only two months younger than Adam.
