League One Results 20th March Part 2

Walsall 1-0 Colchester United
Colchester’s play-off challenge has faltered slightly, having dropped from third to sixth in the last few matches. But unlike Walsall, at least they’re still in it and they do have a game in hand over the three teams below them.
Walsall kept Mark Bradley on the bench again, while Rhys Weston is out with a calf injury. Lee Beevers still has a knee injury and couldn’t play for Colchester.

Wycombe Wanderers 2-2 Exeter City
Wycombe and Exeter shared the points as the 21st and 23rd placed teams faced off in this relegation derby.
Richard Duffy and Rob Edwards both started for Exeter, with Rob in particularly fine form, but goalkeeper Andy Marriott has so far failed to regain his first-team place after recovering from a neck injury. Stuart Fleetwood wasn’t in the squad but he got an assist and won a penalty as Exeter Reserves won 4-3 away at Swindon Reserves.

Yeovil Town 0-3 Bristol Rovers
Yeovil have been going to do well but the one thing that’s consistent about Bristol Rovers is that they’re inconsistent.
Shaun MacDonald did well for Yeovil with Arron Davies coming off the bench after 24 minutes following an injury. Yeovil now have two players called Davies and two called Williams (one of whom is the suspended Gavin Williams) so it’s very confusing.
Byron Anthony wasn’t expected to return from injury in time for this match but he played the whole thing. Ben Swallow was on the bench.
