Milton Keynes Dons 0-3 SouthamptonMK Dons suffered another setback in their promotion challenge as Southampton put three past them. I still don’t think Southampton will get into the play-offs but I wouldn’t put it past them to catch MK Dons.
Jermaine Easter had a shot saved early on but once he was substituted, there wasn’t a lot he could do.
Lloyd James was fit enough to be on the bench for Southampton but he’s still having problems with his ankle.
Oldham Athletic 0-2 Brighton & Hove AlbionBrighton moved seven points clear of the relegation zone with this win. Oldham didn’t drop back into the bottom four but they’re only three points away.
Oldham were still without injured loanee
Daniel Nardiello, while
Joe Jacobson was left on the bench again.
Andrew Crofts played for Brighton.
Southend United 2-2 Carlisle UnitedA point was enough to keep Carlisle in the top half but Southend are four points away from safety. But they did manage to hang on for 2-2 with ten men.
Jason Price again started for Carlisle but he couldn’t find the back of the net.
Stockport County 0-1 BrentfordBrentford were really in need of a win after some disappointing results left them worryingly close to the drop zone. Luckily, they were playing Stockport.
Stockport actually didn’t play that badly, especially not
Owain fon Williams, who made some good saves, including one amazing one. Their manager says they have 27 points to play for. And as they’re fourteen points from safety, they could need every one of those 27 points.
Lewis Price was on the bench for Brentford.
Swindon Town 1-1 Norwich CityA win for Swindon would have put them just three points behind second-place Leeds. But they were lucky to get even a point, with the equaliser not coming until the 92nd minute. As for Norwich, probably only administration could keep them from going up.
Billy Bodin was again on the bench for Swindon.
