Sheffield United v Queen’s Park Rangers
Sheffield United have dropped away from the play-offs a bit so they probably won’t really want to face the newly re-vitalised QPR. And they’ll have to do it without Ched Evans. Most reports agree that Ched hasn’t broken his collarbone as first feared but he might need an operation and could still miss most of the remaining games this season.
Swansea City v Sheffield Wednesday
It’s been a good week for Swansea fans. Their team got back to winning ways while deadly rivals Cardiff lost to Ipswich. Ipswich have actually finished in the top four of the Premier League but next season they could be in the top four of League One. Along with Sheffield Wednesday.
Ashley Williams played through a knee injury as Swansea beat Watford and with fellow centre back Alan Tate (ankle) also hopping around the field, Ashley is very grateful for the good form of Swansea goalkeeper Dorus de Vries. Ashley doesn’t seem to be a doubt for this match.
Jazz Richards could keep his place in Swansea’s team and David Cotterill has another fitness test on his hamstring injury which hopefully he’ll pass this time. Joe Allen (knee) is definitely out.
Watford v Peterborough United
Probably nothing can save Peterborough now but maybe they’ll get to have some say in who gets dragged down with them. Watford are a definite possibility.
Craig Morgan will play in defence for Peterborough.
West Bromwich Albion v Blackpool
West Brom managed to scrape a win in their last game but in the match before that, they lost 3-1 to Queen’s Park Rangers. So Blackpool, who are two points outside the play-offs, might fancy their chances.
Neal Eardley, Rob Edwards and David Vaughan could all start for Blackpool.
