Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Fulham
When the teams went inside for half-time, there looked to be only one winner. And it wasn’t Tottenham. The home team looked panicky while Fulham kept the ball patiently and came out for the second half with a 1-0 lead to show from it.
But after the break, things changed. Fulham weren’t bad but Tottenham were all over them, full of pace and creativity and… actually I’m an Arsenal supporter, I shouldn’t be saying good things about Tottenham. Not even when they deserve it.
Gareth Bale started the match at left midfield for Fulham but was moved to left back at half-time when Benoit Assou-Ekotto was substituted. He was strong in attack from most positions and was unlucky his free kick didn’t go in.
Simon Davies looked strong for Fulham in the first half and could have scored.
