Aston Villa v Sunderland
Aston Villa continue their fight for a place in the Champions’ League against Sunderland, who have just started winning again.
James Collins should have played for Villa anyway but an injury to central defence partner Richard Dunne makes it even more likely.
Blackburn Rovers v Birmingham City
Blackburn hope to build on their draw with Chelsea with an even better result against Birmingham City.
Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson is likely to be out for about four weeks so Jason Brown will continue to play in goal.
Manchester City v Everton
Manchester City have a bit of a defence crisis – I wonder how Craig Bellamy would do in the back line? He’s not very tall but he’s certainly tough. A win for Manchester City would put them into the Champions’ League places.
Everton however are improving and they did manage to sneak into fifth place last season. So maybe they could sneak 7th.
Portsmouth v Chelsea
Portsmouth are just waiting to be relegated while Chelsea are just waiting to get back to top form. Not that they’ll need top form to beat Portsmouth.
Rhys Taylor could return to the bench if he recovers from injury in time but the first and second-choice Chelsea goalkeepers are also close to a return.
