Aldershot Town 2-0 Shrewsbury Town
A bad run for Shrewsbury has seen them drop to ninth but they are only three points off the play-offs. Aldershot have had similar problems lately but they’re now only one point behind Shrewsbury.
Will Richards was on the bench for Shrewsbury.
Burton Albion 2-2 Chesterfield
A point for Chesterfield was enough to keep them just three points from the automatic promotion places and whilst Burton continue to drop points, they’re not going down. They’re 19 points clear of the relegation zone.
Tony James played in defence for Burton and nearly scores. Robert Page was in the same position for Chesterfield. Chesterfield goalkeeper Mark Crossley was on the bench.
Cheltenham Town 1-1 Port Vale
Cheltenham will be glad they didn’t lose this one – they’re only four points ahead of Grimsby Town now. Meanwhile, Port Vale’s play-off challenge is looking shaky.
Cheltenham were missing the injured Josh Low but Gareth Owen played for Port Vale after overcoming a knee injury. Lewis Haldane and Craig Davies both came close to scoring for the away side.
Dagenham & Redbridge 3-1 Macclesfield Town
Dag & Red put themselves firmly back in the play-off picture with a win over Macclesfield, who lost for the first time since the loss of manager Keith Alexander.
Tony Roberts celebrated his new contract with Dag & Red by letting in just one goal – and winning the match. Matthew Tipton made a substitute appearance for Macclesfield but this time he couldn’t save them.
