Lincoln City v Northampton Town
Lincoln look pretty safe but Northampton will need to win to ensure no-one steals their play-off spot.
David Stephens signed for Lincoln on loan from Norwich City while I wasn’t looking but I know about him now. He wasn’t in the squad for their last game but maybe he will be this time.
Peter Gilbert, who has been offered a new contract, will be in defence for Northampton and I’ve just realised Paul Walker has been on the bench for Northampton for weeks. There are over 100 Welsh players playing regularly in the football league, it’s not always easy to pick up on the new ones that come in. Well not if you’re me.
Macclesfield Town v Cheltenham Town
Macclesfield are starting to look in danger again but not as much as Cheltenham.
Macclesfield have injury problems and one of their injured players is a forward so maybe Matthew Tipton will get a start.
The Cheltenham manager says all his players are fit and presumably that includes Josh Low.
Morecambe v Torquay United
Morecambe still have a small chance of the play-offs but Torquay have a bigger chance of getting relegated.
Darren Moss will probably be on the bench for Morecambe.
Port Vale v Crewe Alexandra
Port Vale like to think they’re still in the play-off hunt and I do actually agree with them now. Crewe are set to finish mid-table.
Lewis Haldane has only scored three times in his 34 appearances for Port Vale and he’s determined to get a goal this time. Gareth Owen and Craig Davies should also be in the squad.
Shrewsbury Town v Darlington
Shrewsbury have been knocked off their play-off spot but they’re still only three points away. Darlington need a lot more than three points. Unfortunately, three points is the maximum available and probably more than they’re going to get.
Will Richards could be on the bench for Shrewsbury.
