Bristol Rovers 1-0 Stockport County
Stockport’s first win for ages must have given them a boost at the weekend but they were back on the losing side when they played Bristol Rovers. Byron Anthony recovered from a knee injury to play the full match for the home side and gave a great performance at right back, also getting forward to make a good effort on goal. Ben Swallow stayed on the bench. Owain fon Williams was in goal for Stockport.

Southampton 5-0 Huddersfield Town
No Welshmen in this game as Lloyd James is still injured – although he and Anthony Pulis should return to training soon (not sure what’s wrong with Anthony). This result meant that Huddersfield remained level on points with Millwall, having lost their game in hand. Was my Millwall-supporting dad happy? Of course not. He wanted Southampton to win 11-0.
