Arsenal v Burnley
Arsenal are again without a number of players, including Aaron Ramsey but Andrey Arshavin and Abou Diaby could return. Sanchez Watt is back from his loan to Southend United and hopes to put himself into contention for a place in the first team. Burnley have only one point from away matches this season but it would be just typical of them to get three more at the Emirates. (I do think Arsenal will win really though.)
West Ham United v Bolton Wanderers
This is a relegation club between two clubs most would expect to escape but both clubs remain very much in trouble. A win for either club would be very useful, a draw won’t do either of them much good.
Both Jack Collison of West Ham and Bolton’s Sam Ricketts suffered knee injuries while on international duty with Wales. Jack played but he clearly wasn’t 100% fit but Sam was unable to play any part. But there’s nothing to suggest they won’t both will be fit for this match.
West Ham’s Danny Gabbidon is back in full training following a hamstring injury. He isn’t fit enough to start yet but a place on the bench isn’t impossible.
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester United
Manchester United will be keen to pick up some points as they could only manage a draw last week. Wolves might want a point or three even more than the Champions.
Wayne Hennessey played the second half of Wales’ match but Marcus Hahnamann is expected to remain Wolves’ first choice goalkeeper. Sam Vokes, who played most of the second half for Wales, is likely to be on the bench with Wayne. Dave Edwards still hasn’t recovered from an ankle injury but some report suggest he isn’t far away.
Ryan Giggs is still out with an arm injury but he could be back next weekend.
