Wigan Athletic 1-0 Liverpool
There was no place in Wigan’s side for Jason Koumas as Liverpool suffered yet another defeat. Wigan have only won seven games this season but these include victories over Liverpool and Chelsea.
Liverpool were poor but Wigan played like a side who deserved to win.
