League One Fixtures 30th January Part 3

Yeovil have signed Norwich’s Owain Tudur Jones on loan – he will be sharing the midfield with Shaun MacDonald, another loanee, with defender Nathan Jones just behind them.
But contrary to reports, Yeovil have not signed Arron Davies. Arron has already played for Nottingham Forest and Brighton this season and is not allowed to play competitive football for another team. I really wish Forest hadn’t released him now, they should have known this would happen.
However, the rule is a bit confusing. Christian Ribeiro is a Swansea player who has been on their bench for League games. He has also played on loan for Stockport and is now on loan at Colchester. True, I don’t think he’s actually played for Swansea whereas Arron did play for Forest. But Christian has appeared in matchday squads for League matches whereas Arron only played for Forest in the Cup. Maybe this isn’t totally relevant but it does seem a bit double-standardy (not that I’m saying Christian should be taken away from Colchester!).
