Northampton Town v Burton Albion
Northampton’s Peter Gilbert was substituted early in Northampton’s last match but he doesn’t seem to be on their injury list. Burton’s Tony James also seems to be fine which is good news as Burton's injury crisis has been worse than Northampton's.
Port Vale v Hereford United
Lewis Haldane is no longer on loan from Bristol Rovers but he will be playing – he is now officially a Port Vale player, just like Gareth Owen. Craig Davies however is still a loanee. Ryan Green definitely won’t play for Hereford after a hernia operation but Darren Jones and Ryan Valentine are fit as far as I know.
Rotherham United v Macclesfield Town
Rotherham are continuing their assault on the play-offs so Macclesfield’s Matthew Tipton could find himself on the losing side. But I hope not. (If it was up to me, all the Wales players would win every week. But that wouldn’t happen. And even if it did Manchester City would probably buy the lot of them and then Arsenal would never win a trophy ever again.)
Shrewsbury Town v Accrington Stanley
Will Richards could start for Shrewsbury, who have played more games than most of they teams around them in the League but even automatic promotion looks far from impossible.
Torquay United v Bradford City
Michael Flynn has defended Bradford manager Stuart McCall, saying that it’s the players’ fault, not the manager’s, that Bradford have been struggling lately. His team-mates need t cut out silly mistakes and start winning!
