Premier League Fixtures 26th January

Bolton Wanderers v Burnley
Bolton have a number of injury doubts but that should only increase Sam Ricketts’ chance of starting to get a win against a side who only have one point from away fixtures this season.

Portsmouth v West Ham United
If either side wants to escape relegation, they should be able to beat each other. Unfortunately they can’t both do it. But West Ham are the ones with Jack Collison in their team – he’s gone a bit quiet on the goalscoring front but continues to play well. Danny Gabbidon is a doubt so his hamstring must be a lot better and if he’s not back for tomorrow, he can’t be too far off.

Tottenham Hotspur v Fulham
Fulham are another team who have been known to struggle away - or at least they do when they’re not playing Manchester United. So this could be the day Gareth Bale finally gets his first win from a game he started. He certainly deserves it after some excellent performances recently but the bad news is Benoit Assou-Ekotto could have recovered from injury by tomorrow.
Simon Davies made what I believe was his third injury comeback in Fulham’s FA Cup match at the weekend. He might not be ready for a start just yet but it would be lovely to see him making another substitute appearance.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Liverpool
I expect Wayne Hennessey and Sam Vokes will drop to the bench again after playing 90 minutes for Wolves in the FA Cup. Dave Edwards is now expected to be out for another two months but maybe topleague got it wrong.
