Ryan Giggs was missing again as Manchester United took on Boaz Myhill, who was world-class in his last game. He did actually make some very good saves – as he usually does – but he was up against Wayne Rooney, who can be world-class himself on occasion. And on this occasion, he certainly was, as he scored all four goals. (It’s happening so often, we need a special word for it. We’ve got hat-trick so maybe four goals could be a coat-trick or something and if you get five it’s a boot-trick because it would be unless you scored all five with your head.)
